The ATMEL MBC-SAM9G45 is a ARM9 module board produced by Embest, built in with powerful ATMEL AT91SAM9G45 embedded microprocessor which is based on the integration of an ARM926EJ-S core with fast SRAM and a wide range of peripherals. The board supports Linux2.6 and WinCE6.0, and incorporates plenty of external memories: 4MB DataFlash, 256MB NandFlash, 64KB EEPROM and 128MB DDR2 SDRAM. Measuring only 45mm x 52mm, it is an ideal smart processor card easy to integrate in your solution, or a minimum system and/or a reference board for your next design.
 

The ATMEL EB-SAM9G45 evaluation board is a new released compact board produced by Embest in 2010, based on the high-performance eMPU ATMEL AT91SAM9G45 which runs at up to 400MHz and with 64KB ROM and 64KB SRAM on-chip memories. Besides providing plenty of external memories on board, the EB-SAM9G45 has exposed a lot of functional peripherals including UARTs, hp USB host, hp USB device, Ethernet, SD/MMC, Micro SD, TFT LCD, JTAG, User extension interfaces, key buttons and IIS Audio Input/Output Jack. Meanwhile, it supports Linux2.6 and WinCE6.0, and provides free board support packages (BSPs) of these two OS. The plenty of example programs accompanying with the CD-ROM of the board will make you easily evaluate the functions of the AT91SAM9G45 processor.

The Embest MBC-SAM9G20 Core Board, measuring 45mm x 52mm, is a very small size, low power consumption but high performance arm9 based processor board. It is based on an ATMEL AT91SAM9G20 ARM926EJ-S core based microprocessor, with 64KB ROM and 16KB SRAM on-chip memories. The board features a Micro USB port, a Debug UART port, a 5V power port and comprehensive external memories: 4MB DataFlash,256MB NandFlash,64KB EEPROM and 64MB SDRAM. It is so tiny that it can reduce much space of your products. You can use it easily to complete your project development and save much of your time to the market.

The MBM-SAM-9G Base Board is a common main board to connect ATMEL ARM-based MCUs & eMPUs processor card, such as Embest MBC-SAM9G45 core board , Embest MBC-SAM9G20 core board and Embest MBC-SAM9263 core board. It connect to processor card through a expansion bus interface (SAMTEC QSH-06-01-L-D-A), and extended lots of the public communication interface and connectors to meet various applications requirement, such as the LCD & TSP, Camera (Image Sensor), Ethernet, USB host, SD/MMC, RS232, RS485 and CAN Bus etc. Selected one of the Embest ATMEL SAM MCUs & eMPUs processor card, will enable developers implement or evaluate various application on it, for examples, POS terminals, security, building automation, industrial control, medical, white goods, PC and gaming peripherals, toys and cellular phone accessories and other fields.

The ATMEL MBS-SAM9G20 Evaluation Kit is a low power, high performance single board computer produced by Embest, it is consisted of one base board (MBM-SAM-9G) and one processor card (MBC-SAM9G20), this evaluation kit based on ATMEL AT91SAM9G20 (ARM926EJ-S Core) microcontroller intended for applications such as the for examples, POS terminals, security, building automation, industrial control, medical, PC and gaming peripherals, toys and cellular phone accessories, data acquisition system, handheld devices, and intelligent instruments and other fields. It has a flexible design with a tiny daughter board MBC-SAM9G20 mounted directly onto the mother board through a QTH-060-01-L-D-A expansion bus connector.

The daughter board (MBC-SAM9G20) integrates a AT91SAM9G20 processor and plenty of memories on board. It extends most features of the AT91SAM9G20 through 120 pins bus expansion connector. The mother board provides a rich set of peripherals and interfaces including Ethernet, USB Host & Device, RS232/TTL/RS422 Serial ports, Audio, Keyboard, SD/MMC, Buttons, LEDs etc.

Embest offers Linux 2.6 BSP and WinCE6.0 BSP for this board. Customers can use it already or use it for your design reference.
